Are there any coyotes?
Yes, especially in Presque Isle County. And of course the entire state of Michigan is
home of a great number of coyote. Their numbers and the area they inhabit are still
continuing to increase throughout the entire state. Although the hunt will focus mainly on
coyote hunting, bobcat and fox are also part of the hunt.
Where can I hunt?
You can hunt almost anywhere you wish in Michigan. Presque Isle and the surrounding
county’s have countless state land access sites with prime habitat. Maps will be
available at NettieBay Lodge along with good sound advice. You can also travel all of
Michigan, no mileage limit within the state. You can hunt your own private land or any
other private lands with permission.

the Dept. of Natural Resources hunting guide.
Food and lodging?
NettieBay Lodge has several cottage units to choose from. Try our single bedroom duplexes
(with hide-a-bed and extra bunk bed), or our spacious A-Frame cottages sleeping up to 12.
Please bring your sleeping bag or bedroll. For meals, all of our cottages are equipped
with full kitchens and utensils. There are also many places you can stay in near Rogers
City or Onaway. Plenty of restaurants in the area also, good-o-north country hospitality
