| Overview INSTRUCTOR |
Twig Furniture Workshop Lorna Brown creates rustic twig furniture for the home, lodge and garden. Her wood is hand-selected from the trimmings of Northern Michigan trees such as maple, blue beech, cherry, oak and birch. I draw from many styles of construction with an elegant and finished look, paying particular attention to detail, yet retaining a rustic quality. My productions range from miniatures to full dining sets and coffee tables, plant stands, children's chairs, and double settees for the garden. Many of my works are on display at galleries located throughout Michigan in Sebewaing, Grand Haven, Alden, Buelah, and West Branch. I am a Michigan certified instructor for adults and youth in the field of arts, and offer seminars in twig furniture building. I travel throughout the mid-West displaying my works at garden shows and art fairs. |
