Over 70 years ago, Nettie Bay Resort was established to be a place of relaxation, silence and beauty. Tucked away just southwest of the northern tip of Lake Huron in Northern Michigan, you can take that much needed long weekend off or extended furlough in the comfort of our resort.

Nettie Bay Resort is not only a great place for quiet, restful times, it is also ready to spoil you with activities and learning workshops such as hunting, fishing, split bamboo fly rod making, bird identification workshops, stone masonry workshop, twig furniture, fork shop, spring turkey hunt, fall grouse/woodcock, whitetail hunting archery, rifle and black powder, cross country trails, and ice fishing on Lake Nettie and so much more. Our two most busy times of the year are whitetail hunting season, and summer vacation fun.

Our spring season starts with learning vacations, while summer is filled with family fun! Fall begins with outdoor hunting activities, and old man winter can be enjoyed with cross country skiing, ice fishing, and relaxing by the fire in the main lodge with a good book and relaxing music. NettieBay is no doubt a unique place for your vacation!

In addition to our many activities already enjoyed by our guests, we are also making way for some new facilities to house amenities such as massages, yoga classes, manicures, frisbee golf, paddle boats, and a continental breakfast

With sparkling blue lakes and endless skies, NettieBay is close to other great locations in the great state of Michigan. The local village of Hawks, Michigan has a population just under 1000. The quaint small town is a nice day escape into the city from the resort. The area is well noted for its seclusion, pristine lakes and streams, and an abundance of wildlife. NettieBay Resort has established itself as a prime location for bird watching as well. The nearest major city to Nettie Bay Resort is Bay Harbor, Michigan. It is only 63 miles away and is home to Golf Magazines #27 of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S.

We are pleased to be able to offer a new restaurant for your dining pleasure. The Cobblestone Restaurant here at NettieBay Resort can accommodate up to 50 guests at a time. We offer a brilliant menu followed by musical entertainment. You can also reserve our beautiful facilities to host your next party such as private parties, Christmas parties, corporate meetings, birthday parties, weddings, and rehearsal dinners.

Our newly updated rental cabins can house up to 45 people, and are available for extended time and also group discounted rates. Groups can also build their own packages, with or without meals and an activity they would like to enjoy. This is perfect for the many outdoor lovers and retreat groups wanting to spend some time away together. Our cool Michigan temperatures make for beautiful days and nights. Average temperatures during the summer season are in the upper seventies and low eighties.
